Préservation de la vitalité pulpaire :
Maintenir la vitalité pulpaire d'une dent revêt une importance capitale pour plusieurs raisons. La pulpe dentaire, qui abrite les nerfs et les vaisseaux sanguins, est essentielle à la nutrition et à l'hydratation de la dent, renforçant ainsi sa robustesse et sa durabilité. Une dent avec une pulpe vivante est également plus réactive aux stimuli, facilitant la détection de problèmes éventuels comme les caries ou les fissures. De plus, préserver la vitalité de la pulpe permet d'éviter des interventions complexes telles que les traitements de canal, qui peuvent fragiliser la dent et nécessiter des réparations plus élaborées. Le maintien de la pulpe vitale évite aussi les écueils des infections secondaires à d'anciens traitement canalaires, susceptibles de provoquer des infections persistantes. Ces infections peuvent avoir des corrélations avec des pathologies graves, telles que les infarctus du myocarde, certains cancers et autres maladies systémiques. Ainsi, en garantissant la vitalité pulpaire, on minimise le risque de ces complications, favorisant une santé bucco-dentaire et générale optimisée.
l'instauration d'un protocole de soins spécifique, combinant l'utilisation de laser, de champs magnétiques pulsés, d'ozone et d'aromathérapie, permet bien souvent de maintenir la vitalité des dents, même lorsque la profondeur des caries aurait pu entraîner des conséquences fatales dans d'autres circonstances.
